Our goal is to help you become capable and confident working on your own and provide the lifeline for continuing education.
So isn't sewing a little old fashion?
We just love this question! You see, the craft of sewing is no longer a mere domestic industry, the textile and fashion industry has come a long way. Today it is segmented among producers, manufacturers, retailers (large and small), distributors and commercial and retail markets on a global scale.
For example, according to the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee's report in February 2015, the Fashion Industry is a "…$1.2 trillion global industry." In July 2015, The Fabric, Craft and Sewing Supplies Stores industry (www.ibisworld.com) reported estimated $5 billion revenue. Surprised?
